What is Dad Weed?

Why is it called “Dad Weed?”

Why is Cannabis so much stronger than it used to be?
During prohibition, when cannabis was still illegal, High THC bud was what everyone wanted. THC gets you high, more THC gets you even higher, so it follows that high quality weed should have as much THC content as possible. This philosophy has influenced growers to select plants that produce buds with as much THC as possible. While this is great for people who want to get out of their gourd high, it’s not right for everyone. Some people react to high THC with anxiety and paranoia, so adding more is not ideal for them.
