This week we’re spotlighting Granddaddy Purple, also known as GDP, from Top Shelf. GDP is a famous indica hailing from California and crosses Purple Urkel with Big Bud.

The First Look

GDP looks amazing with it’s dense yet large nuggets. It’s deep purple color is packed with small trichome crystals. Once you smell the crisp, berry scent when you unwrap the packaging you’ll want to smoke it right away! When you do, you will definitely unwind for the night.

How it Smokes

GDP is moderately smooth which makes for a non-existent cough. But, get ready this Granddaddy Purple is going straight to the dome. Within 5 minutes you can expect a heavy head high that is still focused. Over time the high becomes more and more “stoney.” Once you hit the 30 minute mark the high will make you feel “baked” and relaxed. When coming down, it’s time to say goodnight, as you will feel sleepy and ready for bed.

Now that you’ve heard what we think, we want to know what you like about this bud! Try Granddaddy Purple from Top Shelf for yourself and let us know what you think on Facebook TwitterSnapchat or Instagram.
